On a conscious or subconscious level, hands are one of the first things we notice when you meet or greet a person. A good manicure is an indication that you take pride in your appearance and personal grooming. At Prisca Hair and Beauty have made it our priority and lifestyle in providing the best and quality nails in variety to cater for different needs and occasions.

Acrylic is a mixture of liquid monomer and a powder polymer which when combined form a hard protective layer that is sculpted over the nail. The procedure is a multi-step process that involve nail preparation: Cleaning, buffing, Shaping, cuticle work, then after apply tips to add length if required then the acrylic application.

Gel nails

Gel is applied either directly on a natural nail or tips(nail extensions). It is applied in thin layers and cured in between layers in a UV or LED lamp to harden. Gel does not cause damage to the natural nail and can be used to strengthen, protect and promote nail grow.

Gelish nails

Gelish wears like nail polish and behaves like gel. It is nail friendly, does not cheap, lift or break. It comes in a wide range of colours to choose from.

With all nail systems, infill or mantainance will have to be done in two to three weeks.

  1. Always moisturise your hands after using water.
  2. Exfoliate your hands regularly to remove dead skin cells as they make your hands look dull.
  3. Less buffing as it thins the nails.
  4. Don’t over cut cuticles because the more you cut them the thicker they grow and crack when not properly nourished.
  5. Having long acrylic nails can cause your nails to break if you hit against a hard surface or lift a heavy object.

Non-invasive liposuction

Non-surgical liposuction techniques use laser energy, radio frequency, ultrasound or cold (cryolipolysis) to reduce fat. Devices are applied directly to the skin of the treatment area and do not employ injections (as in injection lipolysis) or incisions (as in laser assisted liposuction). Although fat loss is more subtle with non-surgical lipolysis techniques compared to surgical liposuction, non-surgical lipolysis techniques have several advantages including reduced risk, reduced cost, and reduced healing time. Laser, radiofrequency, and ultrasound techniques provide additional advantages of tissue tightening. Because there is no suction involved, terms such as laser lipolysis, cryolipolysis or body contouring are preferred to non-surgical liposuction.
  1. Non Invasive
  2. Safe and painless
  3. Non-surgical
  4. No downtime
  5. Works for both genders
  6. Spot fat reduction

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance way to wake up perfect every day, semi-permanent eyelashes are the answer. The light-weight extensions are the newest treatment to transform your eyelashes into longer, thicker, curlier, natural-looking lashes that accentuate your eyes. You’ll have no more clumping, smudging or time spent applying mascara with these beautiful lash enhancements.

We individually apply one lash extension to every natural lash with a strong bond. This is designed to last until the natural lash has finished its cycle and both the natural lash and extension fall out together. The procedure will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the person’s eyelashes.

Massage involves working and acting on the body with pressure. Techniques are commonly applied using hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally promoted as treatment for stress or pain. In professional settings massage clients are treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor. Always individually customised to fit your specific needs.

Threading is a method of hair removal in which unwanted hairs are plucked out by using a twisted cotton thread. It is a temporary hair removal technique used mostly on eyebrows, lips, chin and cheeks

Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for four to six weeks, although some people will start to see regrowth in only a week due to some of their hair being on a different human hair growth cycle. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, pubic area (called bikini waxing), legs, arms, back, abdomen, knuckles and feet. There are many types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair.

Strip waxing (soft wax) is accomplished by spreading a wax thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is applied and pressed firmly, adhering the strip to the wax and the wax to the skin. The strip is then quickly ripped against the direction of hair growth, as parallel as possible to the skin to avoid trauma to the skin. This removes the wax along with the hair.

Stripless wax (as opposed to strip wax), also referred to as hard wax, is applied somewhat thickly and with no cloth or paper strips. The wax then hardens when it cools, thus allowing the easy removal by a therapist without the aid of cloths. This waxing method is very beneficial to people who have sensitive skin. Stripless wax does not adhere to the skin as much as strip wax does, thus making it a good option for sensitive skin as finer hairs are more easily removed because the hard wax encapsulates the hair as it hardens. The stripless waxing method can also be less painful.

It doesn't matter if you like them arched and feathered or straight and bold, eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. If you're not satisfied with the ones you have, there are so many ways to update them, including brow gel, pencils, and even tattooing. But now there's a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results. Ladies, we'd like to introduce you to microblading.
